Coco Beach is located in the Chiriqui province near Puerto Armuelles, and can be reached via the Pan-American highway. Everything grows and blossoms on your way to the guarded community. The Beach Club forms the center of the property with a resort and community arising between the beach and palm tree plantation next door. Puerto Armuelles

In 1927, Puerto Armuelles was developed by United Fruit Company, now known as Chiquita. Today, the village still breaths the atmosphere of the early days with its wooden houses. In and around the area several developments are emerging. There are plans for a second pier and there has come a large focus on solar power. The town has shops, several banks and a local hospital. Also, Puerto Armuelles is part of the free tax zone and borders Costa Rica.

The capital of the Chiriqui province is David and is the nearest city with important facilities like an international airport (Enrique Malek) and car rental options. David is a regional trade center of which livestock forms its main form of income but also the produce of fruit, coffee, cacao and sugar are of importance.
